(A) An officer of the Columbia City Police Department may issue a City of Columbia City Ordinance Violation Citation ("citation") to a person who violates this subchapter.
(B) The first such citation issued to an individual under the provisions of this subchapter shall impose a fine of $25.
(C) Each subsequent citation issued to an individual under the provisions of this subchapter shall impose a fine of $50.
(D) Each violation of this subchapter shall be deemed a separate offense.
(E) In addition to any monetary penalty issued, the Columbia City Police Department may direct a person violating this subchapter to leave the area where panhandling and solicitation are prohibited and/or, if applicable, cite the person violating this subchapter for an applicable violation set forth under the Indiana Code.
