For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
CITY. Those areas which are within the corporate limits of the City of Columbia City, Indiana.
ENFORCEMENT OFFICER. The Chief Building Inspector from the Whitley County/Columbia City Planning and Building Department or his/her duly authorized representative.
GEOTHERMAL SYSTEM. A closed horizontal system of piping in the earth, which utilizes the inherent cooling and heating qualities of the earth.
PERSON. An individual, firm, corporation, partnership or association.
