Any owner or occupant of any dwelling or dwelling unit, or part thereof, or any other person who shall violate any of the terms or provisions of this chapter, or shall fail to comply with any of the terms or provisions of this chapter, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $50. Each day that any such violation shall continue to exist, or each distinct repetition of any such violation, shall constitute a separate offense.
