§ 110.01 ELECTRICIANS; LICENSING.
   Whoever desires to do electrical wiring or the installation of any electrical wiring apparatus, fixture, appliance, or machinery in this city shall, before entering on such work, procure a license so to do from the city. Such person shall make written application to the Common Council and accompany the same by a bond in the penal sum of $1,000 in a form acceptable to, and conditioned to the approval of, the City Attorney with sureties subject to the approval of the Common Council. On the approval of the application and bond, the Common Council shall duly order the Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer to issue to such applicant a license as an electrician which shall be in force for one year from the date of the granting of the license.
