§ 72.01 TRUCK WEIGHT LIMITED ON CERTAIN STREETS.
   (A)   Except as otherwise set forth herein this Chapter 72, no person, firm, partnership, association or corporation, knowingly or wantonly, shall operate or cause to be operated any truck exceeding a five-ton maximum gross weight on any street constructed and maintained by the city.
   (B)   At such locations as the city deems appropriate, the city shall post signs which shall state that no truck exceeding a five-ton maximum gross weight shall be operated on city streets.
   (C)   This section shall not apply to trucks making deliveries or pickups at any business or residence abutting the streets.
   (D)   This section shall not apply to city vehicles or city contractors.
   (E)   This section shall not apply to Business 30 East or Chicago Street.
