No person shall drive or operate any motorcycle, mini-bike, go-cart, or any other motor-driven vehicle on the grounds located within the boundaries of any public park situated within the corporate limits of the city. Said vehicles shall be driven only on pavements or designated roadways located within the public parks. However, city employees or other contractors employed by the city may drive on the grounds of any public park located within the city when required to do so in the maintenance and care of the public park or in the construction or erection of any buildings or projects located within the public parks.
