(A) The Stormwater Department and the Stormwater Taxing District are hereby abolished. All functions of the Stormwater Department are hereby transferred to the Board of Public Works, which shall immediately assume all such functions.
(B) The city's stormwater system and all matters concerning the collection, disposal and drainage of storm and surface water through said stormwater system shall be governed by I.C. 8-1.5-5, et seq., also known as the "Stormwater Act." The Board shall supervise and control the city's stormwater system and all matters in connection therewith pursuant to the act.
