(A) There is established a City Plan Commission under the authority of I.C. 36-7-4-200 et seq.
(B) The Plan Commission shall consist of seven members. The Common Council shall appoint three persons in the city government holding governmental positions to act as members, the three members to hold office during and for the term of their office with the city government. The Mayor shall appoint four citizens as members of the Commission, not more than two of whom shall be members of the same political party. Two of the four members shall be appointed for a term of three years, and two for a term of four years. The terms shall expire on January 1 of the third and fourth year respectively following their appointment. Thereafter, as terms expire each new appointment shall be for a term of four years.
(C) The Plan Commission shall have the powers granted to it under I.C. 36-7-4-200 et seq., and be subject to the limitations contained therein.
