Unless a different penalty is specifically provided for in the text of an ordinance in this code, any person who violates any provision of this code shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars ($500.00) or by imprisonment for a period not exceeding six (6) months in the county jail, or both. Every day a violation continues after the first day of the violation, it shall be considered a separate offense unless otherwise noted. (Ord. 00-14, 12-12-2000, eff. 1-12-2001)
