The City may cooperate with any County or district Health Department which may be organized and operated pursuant to Colorado Revised Statutes section 25-1-501, and which includes the City within its permissible jurisdiction under the law, for health services to be rendered to the City and its inhabitants. Such services may include, but shall not be limited to, maintenance and operation of health clinics or other health facilities, control and/or eradication of pests and disease, establishment and enforcement of regulations and standards concerning health and sanitation within the City, maintenance of vital statistics and other appropriate records and any inspection, analysis, testing or other similar activity incidental to providing these services. Any cooperation existing on the effective date of this Code shall remain in full force and effect according to its terms. (1980 Code; Ord. 96-109; Ord. 01-42)
