11.5.102: ELECTION TO APPEAR BEFORE JUDGE:

Prior to conducting a hearing, the Referee shall fully advise defendants of their rights, including the right to appear before a Municipal Court Judge in the first instance on Municipal ordinance violations. If the request is made, the Referee shall terminate the hearing and refer the matter to the Violations Bureau for scheduling.
