Every person operating a vehicle on a highway, street, public way or elsewhere in this City, shall drive the same at a speed and in a manner which is reasonable and prudent under the conditions with due regard to the width, grade, curves, corners, traffic, and use of the streets and highways and all other attendant circumstances. Any person who violates any provision of this section is guilty of careless driving.
A. Except as otherwise provided in subsection B, any person who violates this section shall be punished in accordance with section 1.1.201E of this code.
B. Any person who violates this section and causes bodily injury to another shall be punished in accordance with section 1.1.201B of this code. (1968 Code §6-6-2; Ord. 75-86; Ord. 01-42; Ord. 24-21)
