9.2.109: ASSAULT:

It is unlawful for any person to knowingly or recklessly cause bodily injury to another person. For the purposes of this section, "bodily injury" is defined as physical pain, illness, or any impairment of physical or mental condition. (Ord. 90-129; Ord. 01-42)
