10-1-1: DEFINITIONS:
As used in this Title, the following terms shall have the meanings ascribed to them:
ACCESSORY STRUCTURE: A building subordinate to and smaller than a principal building or mobile home, that contributes to the comfort, convenience or necessity of the occupants of the principal building or mobile home.
DEPENDENT TRAILER OR COACH OR DEPENDANT MOBILE HOME: A trailer coach which does not have a toilet and bath or shower facilities. Use of a dependent trailer or coach or dependent mobile home is prohibited in mobile home parks.
INDEPENDENT TRAILER COACH OR INDEPENDENT MOBILE HOME: A transportable nonpermanent single-family dwelling unit on wheels suitable for year-round occupancy and containing within the same water supply, waste disposal, heating and air conditioning, electrical conveniences and with self-contained toilet and bath or shower facilities as conventional housing meeting "American Standard Association" construction requirements of the most current listing. This definition is not intended to include travel trailers or camper buses.
LICENSE: Permission to operate a mobile home park granted pursuant to this Title.
PERMIT: Written permission issued by the City Council or its designated representative allowing the owner to construct or alter a mobile home park under this Title and the regulations promulgated.
SAFETY BUILDING: A building housing a manager's office, laundry facilities, maintenance equipment, toilet facilities for employees, and emergency sanitary accommodations.
SAFETY CODE: The code promulgated by the American National Standards Institute and identified as the most recently published.
TRAILER COACH OR MOBILE HOME: Any vehicle or similar portable structure used or so constructed as to permit its being used as a conveyance upon the public streets or highways and designed to permit the occupancy as a dwelling place for one or more persons.
TRAILER COACH OR MOBILE HOME LOT: A parcel of land designated for the exclusive use of the occupants of a single mobile home, also termed mobile home space.
TRAILER PARK OR MOBILE HOME PARK: An area of land upon which two (2) or more occupied trailer coaches or mobile homes are harbored either free of charge or for revenue purposes, and shall include any building, structure, tent, vehicle, or enclosure used or intended for use as a part of the equipment of such trailer coach park.
