9-1-2: NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE:
   A.   Adoption: The national electrical code, 2011 edition, including all chapters, articles, information annexes, and tables as copyrighted by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA); providing for issuance of permits, collections of fees therefor, and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions, and terms of said national electrical code (NEC) are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof as if fully set out in this section with additions, insertions, deletions, and changes; if any as set forth hereafter.
   B.   Exemptions: Section 210-12, "ARC - Fault Circuit - Interrupter Protection" and section 406-12 "Tamper Resistant Receptacles For Dwelling Units" are to be exempted from adoption at time of passage hereof.
Section subparagraphs which are exempted from adoption. Below are the sections as quoted:
      1.   Section 210-12 ARC - Fault Circuit - Interrupter Protection.
      2.   Section 406-12 Tamper Resistant Receptacles For Dwelling Units.
   C.   Copies On File: Three (3) copies of such electrical code shall at all times be on file in the office of the city clerk. (Ord. 0-14-13, 2-10-2014)
