5-4C-12-2: DETERMINED DANGEROUS:
A. Notice Of Determination: When in the judgment of the animal control officer a dog may pose a danger or threat to the safety of the residents of the city by reason of the dog's actions or past conduct, the animal control officer may issue to the owner or keeper of such dog a written notice stating that the animal control officer has deemed such dog to be a threat or danger to the residents of the city and set forth the reasons for that judgment.
B. Failure To Comply: Failure of the owner or keeper of such dog to comply with the requirements of this section 5-4C-12 in the time set by the animal control officer shall constitute a violation of this section 5-4C-12 and each day the owner or keeper of such dog fails to comply with the requirements of this section 5-4C-12 shall constitute a new violation.
