A. Suspension By Local Liquor Control Commissioner: The local liquor control commissioner may suspend or revoke any license issued under any one or more of the following circumstances:
1. When the local liquor control commissioner is satisfied that the licensee has violated any of the provisions of this chapter or any valid resolution enacted by the city council or any applicable rule or regulation established by the local liquor control commissioner that is consistent with the law.
2. The violation by the licensee of any law of the state relating to the regulation of the sale of liquor.
3. The wilful making of any false statement by the licensee as to a material fact in an application for a license.
B. Nonuse: When any license is voluntarily not used by the licensee within a period of sixty (60) days from the date of issuance of said license, said license is suspended. Further, if such license is issued and used by the licensee and licensee voluntarily ceases to use such license for a period of sixty (60) days, the license is suspended. The suspension for nonuse shall not apply to a licensee or applicant whose place of business is not yet constructed unless such construction of the business premises is not completed within one hundred eighty (180) days after application for a liquor license.
