The city shall not be held, by reason of this subchapter, as assuming any liability for damages to persons or property by reason of inspections authorized herein, or any certificate issued as provided herein, or by reason of the approval or disapproval of any equipment authorized by this subchapter or by virtue of any other requirement, rule or regulation set forth in this subchapter.
