§ 31.20  REIMBURSEMENT FROM NONRESIDENT INDIVIDUALS AND BUSINESSES.
   The city may bill and collect in accordance with the city fee schedule certain sums to recoup cost of providing fire and rescue services to individuals and businesses which do not have an address within the City Fire Department’s (the Department) area of service (benefitted area) in the following instances:
   (A)   Motor vehicle fires and crashes on state and county highways;
   (B)   Snowmobile, ATV, and dirt bike fires and crashes occurring on a public road or right-of-way, public trail, lake, or park land;
   (C)   Responses to fire calls to or for railroad rights-of-way, including, but not limited to, grass fires;
   (D)   Fires occurring in the right-of-way of a state highway will be billed to the Minnesota Department of Transportation;
   (E)   To other governmental entities within the benefitted area which do not contract with the city for fire and rescue protection services;
   (F)   For all responses to Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) or United States Fish and Wildlife Service properties, trails, and wildlife management areas in the benefitted area that are not covered under special contract with the DNR or United States Fish and Wildlife Service; and
   (G)   Medical and rescue calls.
