(A) All water service shall be furnished to customers according to the following schedule of rates. The Town shall begin collecting the rates for each year with the monthly bills sent to the Town’s water customers in August for July usage. For each subsequent year shown below, the Town shall begin collecting the rates for each year with the monthly bills sent to the Town’s water customers in August of each year. The Town shall charge customers the applicable amount within each of the following four categories of charges: (1) the customer service charge; (2) the base rate charge; and (3) the volumetric charge as follows:
(1) Water customer service charge.

(B) Piperton regulations.
(1) Rates effective for all usage in excess of the current annual allowed monthly volume in any given calendar month or such lesser amount if the Town determines that supply conditions warrant conservation, unless the Town has provided written authorization for such excess usage, shall be as follows:
(a) Rates for the first 500,000 gallons in excess of the current year’s gallon limit for any calendar month, or such lesser amount if supply conditions warrant conservation, in any given calendar month shall be 130% of the then current Town of Collierville customer volumetric rates for residents inside the Town as established from time to time by this section or its successor.
(b) Rates for the second 500,000 gallons in excess of the current year’s gallon limit for any calendar month, or such lesser amount if supply conditions warrant conservation, shall be 135% of the then current Town of Collierville customer volumetric rates for residents inside the Town as established from time to time by this section or its successor.
(c) Rates for 1,000,000 gallons and above in excess of the current year’s gallon limit for any calendar month, or such lesser amount if supply conditions warrant conservation, shall be 140% of the then current Town of Collierville customer volumetric rates for residents inside the Town as established from time to time by this section or its successor.
(2) Service in Piperton for all usage subsequent to the termination of the water agreement between the Town of Collierville and Piperton for the provision of water to Piperton:
(a) Rates for months one through six after the date of termination shall be 135% of the then current Town of Collierville customer volumetric rates for residents inside the Town as established from time to time by this section or its successor.
(b) Rates for months seven through 12 after the date of termination shall be 150% of the then current Town of Collierville customer volumetric rates for residents inside the Town as established from time to time by this section or its successor.
(c) Rates for months beyond one year shall be 175% of the then current Town of Collierville customer volumetric rates for residents inside the Town as established from time to time by this section or its successor.
(C) Special charges.
(1) Volume charge for Carrier Corporation for water plant #2 discharge (per 1,000 gal.): 30% off the prevailing rate for volume charges inside the Town of Collierville.
(2) These rates will be calculated on the basis of pumping months. A pumping month shall consist of a period of 30.5 days on which pumping activities occur. Any pumping activity, no matter what the duration, during a 24-hour period shall be considered a “day” for the purposes of calculating a pumping month. The rates established in this division (C)(2) shall be effective from July 27, 2020 and terminate no later than July 27, 2025. Unless this agreement is extended, these special charges shall expire on July 27, 2025 and the applicable charges will revert back to the rates then in effect.
