At the expiration of the term for which a franchise is granted and any denial of a renewal proposal or upon its termination as provided herein, a company shall forthwith, if required by the Town but not otherwise, remove at its own expense all designated portions of the cable system from all streets and public property within the Town. If the company fails to do so, the Town may perform the work at such company’s expense or elect to leave same in place. A bond shall be furnished by the company in an amount sufficient to cover this expense.
