§ 117.004 RIGHTS RESERVED TO TOWN.
   The Town expressly reserves the following rights which shall not be deemed to be waived or abrogated by any franchise granted pursuant to this chapter:
   (A)   Exercise its governmental powers, now or hereafter, to the full extent that such powers may be vested in or granted to the Town;
   (B)   Adopt, in addition to the provisions contained in this chapter and in a franchise or license and in any existing applicable ordinance, such additional regulations as it shall find necessary in the exercise of its police power;
   (C)   Amend this chapter or any franchise granted pursuant to this chapter to require reasonable and appropriate modifications in a franchise of a nature that would not result in effectively terminating such franchise;
   (D)   Renegotiate any franchise granted pursuant to this chapter should substantial sections of this chapter be rendered void by subsequent changes in applicable federal or state laws;
   (E)   Waive portions of this chapter, if the Town determines such waiver is in the public interest.
