§ 91.27 GATE OVERRIDE.
   (A)   Any building or structure equipped with a security gate for the purpose of preventing unwanted traffic into areas shall be provided with a Fire Department override feature. This feature shall be in compliance with Section 503.6 Security Gates as listed in amendments as exhibit # 16.
   (B)   As a back-up system, the access shall be controlled either by inserting the Fire Department key and turning or a box equipped with Fire Department approved padlock that is unlocked and a lever pulled to activate the gate.
   (C)   There shall not be any siren operated devices placed on gates for the purpose of avoiding divisions (A) or (B) of this section.
   (D)   Gate width shall be in accordance with Chapter 5 and Appendix D of the International Fire Code.
