§ 72.28 WHERE PROHIBITED.
   (A)   No person shall park, stand, or stop a vehicle in violation of any sign placed or erected by the municipality, nor:
      (1)   On a sidewalk;
      (2)   In front of a public or private driveway;
      (3)   Within an intersection or within 15 feet thereof;
      (4)   Within 15 feet of a fire hydrant;
      (5)   Within a pedestrian crosswalk;
      (6)   Within 50 feet of a railroad crossing;
      (7)   Within 20 feet of the driveway entrance to any fire station and on the side of a street opposite the entrance to any fire station within 75 feet of the entrance when properly signposted;
      (8)   Alongside or opposite any street excavation or obstruction when other traffic would be obstructed;
      (9)   On the roadway side of any vehicle stopped or parked at the edge or curb of a street;
      (10)   Upon any bridge; or
      (11)   Alongside any curb painted yellow or red by the municipality.
   (B)   (1)   For purposes of this section, PARK shall mean the standing of a vehicle, whether occupied or not, other than temporarily for the purpose of and while actually engaged in loading or unloading persons or cargo.
      (2)   For purposes of this section, STOP or STAND means any stopping or standing of a vehicle, whether occupied or not, except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with the directions of a police officer or traffic-control sign or signal.
