§ 50.16 COMMERCIAL REFUSE CONTAINERS.
   (A)   Each commercial owner, occupant or other responsible person using or occupying any commercial building or other similar premises within this Town where refuse accumulates or is likely to accumulate shall keep covered its refuse containers. Commercial owners who generate small amounts of refuse may select the Town of Collierville to provide their solid waste service.
   (B)   The Town shall provide one refuse container for a nonrefundable administrative fee set yearly with the adoption of the Town budget. All refuse shall be placed within containers and only refuse within Town-distributed regulated containers will be collected.
   (C)   If additional containers are requested, they may be acquired at the current rate set yearly with the adoption of the Town budget. All containers will remain the property of the Town. The combined weight of any refuse container and its contents shall not exceed 75 pounds. No refuse shall be placed in a refuse container until such refuse has been drained of all free liquids. The Town of Collierville will provide all normal maintenance of the containers. Damaged through neglect or stolen containers will be the responsibility of the business owner.
   (D)   The Town shall provide twice a week collection for up to three 90 to 95 gallon refuse containers. Those commercial owners who generate more than can be contained in three 90 to 95 gallon containers are required to collect their waste in properly secured dumpsters for disposal by other solid waste service companies.
