The Commission shall serve as the Town of Collierville (the “Town”) authority on matters regarding Town history. The Commission will conduct research and, subject to the provisions of § 38.12 of the Town Code, collect information, stories and documents regarding the history of the Town and its people. The ownership of such collection shall be vested in the Town. The Commission will strive to document the history of the Town and will promote the relevance and importance of the Town’s history.
