(a) No person shall disturb the good order and quiet of the Municipality by clamors or noises, by intoxication, drunkenness, fighting, quarreling, wrangling, committing assault, assault and battery, using obscene or profane language in the streets and other public places to the annoyance of the citizens, or otherwise violate the public peace by indecent or disorderly conduct, or by lewd and lascivious behavior.
(b) Whoever violates this section shall be fined not more than fifty dollars ($50.00) or imprisoned not more than 30 days for a first offense, not more than 90 days for the second offense, not more than six months for the third offense and not more than one year for each subsequent offense.
