An Engineer may be appointed or contracted with by the Manager with the consent of Council. The Engineer must be a registered engineer licensed to practice in the State of Ohio. Council shall establish the compensation and benefits for the Engineer by Ordinance. The Engineer may be removed by the Manager with the consent of Council. The Engineer, shall, on request, prepare specifications and drawings for material equipment, and any other items which the Village is concerned with procuring. The Engineer shall review drawings as approved. The Manager shall have the right to employ or contract with additional engineering personnel or services.
