SECTION 2.05 ROLE OF THE MAYOR AND VETO POWER
The Mayor has the right to discuss or address all matters before Council and may propose legislation or issues for discussion.
The Mayor shall preside at all meetings of Council; but shall have no vote therein except in case of a tie vote. The Mayor shall have no veto power.
The Mayor shall promote the Village and Village policies, making public speaking appearances as needed.
The Mayor should schedule opportunities to be available to residents who may have concerns, and facilitate communications between Council and the general public, between Council and Village employees, and between the general public and Village employees.
