(a) Employees shall be compensated for the week of supplemental duty at the rate of eighteen dollars ($18.00) per run.
(b) Supplemental duty is defined as availability for work and performance of certain work prescribed by the Village Manager necessary for the efficient operation of water and wastewater facilities and shall consist of as many hours as are required to permit the employee on duty to properly complete such duties as directed by the Village Manager. A supplemental duty week consists of seven consecutive days, Monday through and including Sunday. An employee on stand by shall be and remain available within twenty minutes response time while on stand by.
