246.05 USE OF COMPENSATION.
   The lump sum compensation to be paid the Fire Department shall be used for the following purposes: the cleaning and/or replacement of damaged shoes and clothing; the purchase and maintenance of equipment necessary in the use of private vehicles in responding to emergency fire calls; the operational expenses necessarily incurred by the use of private vehicles in going to and from fire calls, county meetings, training sessions and other related activities; the purchase and maintenance of private monitoring equipment; the purchase of first-aid supplies; the purchasing and dispersal of fire prevention materials; the purchase of hand tools for the maintenance of fire trucks and the fire house; the purchase and storing of emergency food supplies; and the partial compensation of lost wages of volunteer firemen for response to a fire alarm during the volunteer firemen's normal working hours.
