1444.03 HOUSE MOVERS LICENSE REQUIRED; BOND AND INSURANCE.
   No person shall move any building upon any street or other public way or ground within the Village until he has first obtained a license therefor from the Service Director, for which he shall pay a fee of ten dollars ($10.00) per year. No such license shall be granted until the person applying therefor has given bond in the sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000) with good and sufficient sureties to be approved by the Solicitor, conditioned upon such person paying any and all damages which may occur to any tree, pavement, street, curb or sidewalk, or to any public building or structure, and all damages resulting to any person caused by the carelessness or negligence of the person so licensed, or by his agent, em-ployee or workmen, while engaged in the removal of any building in any street or other public way or ground of the Village, and conditioned, further, upon the licensee saving and indemnifying the Village against all liabilities, judgments, costs and expenses which may in any case accrue against the Village in consequence of the granting of such permit or license, and such person shall strictly comply with the conditions of the license. In addition, no such license shall be granted until the applicant has acquired liability insur-ance in such amount and of such terms and conditions as are deemed sufficient and suitable by the Director.
