No house sewer shall be constructed to connect with a public sanitary sewer nor shall any connection be made to a public sanitary sewer within the Village until the written permission of the Superintendent of Waterworks and Waste Water Treatment or his duly authorized agent has been obtained by the person employed to perform the work. Any application for a permit shall be signed by the owner, agent or lessee of the property for which the connection is to be made and by the person employed to perform the work, and must describe the property and state the fixtures to be connected.
The application shall be accompanied with a fee of five dollars ($5.00) for the inspection.
