§ 70.08 APPLICATION TO ANIMALS.
   (A)   Animals or bicycles. Every person riding a bicycle or an animal, or driving any animal drawing a vehicle upon any street shall be subject to the provisions of this traffic code applicable to the driver of a vehicle, except those provisions which can have no application to one riding a bicycle or driving or riding an animal. Provided that, except where prohibited elsewhere in this title, bicycles may be ridden on sidewalks.

   (B)   Every animal being ridden or driven upon a street, or that is led through any street, shall display at least one (1) light in front which will reveal clearly substantial objects at least one hundred (100) feet ahead or such light may be held in the hand of the person riding or leading such animal. All such animals shall display at the rear one (1) red light visible for a least five hundred (500) feet or a red reflector meeting the requirement may be used. Such light shall be displayed and illuminated during the period from one-half (1/2) hour after sunset to one-half (1/2) hour before sunrise.
