2.96.040: BUILDING OFFICIAL OR FIRE CHIEF EX OFFICIO MEMBER:
   A.   The building official or fire chief, in the case of appeals arising under the international fire code, shall be an ex officio member and shall act as secretary to said board but shall have no vote on any matter before the board and shall not be considered a member of the board.
