The mayor is authorized and directed to enter into an agreement with the state of Idaho, division of building safety, electrical bureau, to furnish electrical inspection service to the city as authorized by section 54-1001C of the Idaho Code. Electrical inspections made under such an agreement shall be made in accordance with this code by a duly appointed state electrical inspector acting as electrical inspector for the city.
