A. When an application for such a permit is made as provided for herein, and when such application to excavate and the details shown upon the accompanying plans, when such plans are required, comply with the terms of this Chapter and the regulations of the Council, the application and the plans shall be approved by the Engineer.
B. Utility companies shall not be charged for a permit, but shall pay for the cost of inspection of work done under permits and shall be billed by the Treasurer at a cost not to exceed ten dollars ($10.00) per hour.
C. A permit fee shall be charged by the City for issuance of a right-of-way excavation permit under this Chapter and to pay for the cost of inspection of the work by the City, according to a schedule of charges to be adopted by resolution of the City Council.
