A. A person representing the applicant seeking a permit shall obtain and file an application with the city clerk on forms provided by such officer.
B. An application for a permit shall be filed with the city clerk as soon as the applicant knows sufficient information to complete an application and at least twenty one (21) days prior to the proposed solicitation of contributions.
C. Applicants must be charitable organizations recognized by the internal revenue service as a 501(c)(3), (4), or (6) nonprofit organization and all solicitation for contributions must be for a charitable purpose.
D. This chapter is subject to amendment or replacement at any time, and any application shall be governed by the ordinance in effect at the time of approval, not the time of application.
E. This chapter shall not apply to state or federal highways. (Ord. 3023 §2, 2001, eff. 7-1-2001)
