8.44.010: CLASSES OF WASTE DEFINED:
For the purposes of this Chapter and the operation of the Coeur d'Alene City landfill, all waste and refuse shall be classified and defined as follows:
   A.   "Class A waste" is defined as and includes the following material: soil, rock, brick, concrete, asphalt, cinder blocks, culverts, roofing material (roofing paper and asphalt shingles), railroad ties, metal piping, metal demolition waste, corrugated metal, burned wood, sawdust (except planer and sawmill wood waste).
   B.   "Class B waste" is defined as and includes the following material: all putrescible waste, all compatible waste (not defined as Class A above or specifically defined as Class C or D waste), including all items delivered by packer truck, all tires, metal, paper, cardboard, plastics, household appliances, furniture, metal barrels, lawn clippings, limbs and branches less than six inches (6") in diameter, shrubs, brush, garbage, refuse, wallboard, plasterboard, household and commercial appliances, lumber, pallets, and wood scraps not herein specifically excluded from the landfill and not including items classified as A, C or D.
   C.   "Class C waste" is defined as and includes the following material: tree stumps, limbs, logs and branches over six inches (6") in diameter, or too large to go into the baler.
   D.   "Class D waste" is defined as and includes the following material: automobile bodies, truck bodies, commercial mill wood waste, farm machinery; large dead animals, including but not limited to, horses, cows, sheep, deer, elk, moose and bear; chemical waste, explosives, petroleum products and other corrosive or highly inflammable material.
