For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
GARBAGE. All refuse, animal, fruit and other vegetable matter, all tin cans, glassware and crockery in which any matter has been put up or stored, and all rags, waste paper, floor sweepings and other combustible refuse, excepting building materials, scraps and tree trimmings.
