§ 150.02 BUILDING PERMIT REQUIRED.
   It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to hereafter erect, construct or build, or cause or authorize the same on any lot or parcel of land within the corporate limits any building or structure of any kind or description, without and until the person, firm or corporation first submits to the Board of Aldermen through the office of the Town Administrator, a duly signed and completed application for a building permit for a building or structure, the application to be accompanied by plans and specifications for a building or structure, the material to be used in the building or structure, the purposes for which the building or structure is to be used; the location thereof, the cost of a building or structure, and other information concerning the same that will enable the Building Inspector to properly pass upon the application of the person, firm or corporations, to erect, build or construct a building or structure within the corporate limits and until the person, firm or corporation obtains a permit to erect, build or construct a building or structure as described in the application for permit, it shall be unlawful for the person, firm or corporation to proceed with the erection, building or construction of a building or structure, as herein provided.
