(A) The Finance Officer shall be appointed by the Board at the first meeting in December following each election.
(B) The Finance Officer shall keep or cause to be kept in a safe place all monies, records and accounts.
(C) The Finance Officer shall disburse funds for the various purposes of the town only when an appropriation for such purpose has been made in the annual budget and the disbursement is authorized by the Board of Aldermen.
(D) The Finance Officer shall perform other duties as the Board may from time to time require.
