§ 93.06 DOG IDENTIFICATION TAG.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any dog owner to fail to provide the dog with a metal identification tag upon which is inscribed the dog’s owner’s name, address and telephone number in letters at least one-eighth inch high and securely attached to the collar.
   (B)   (1)   It shall also be unlawful for any dog owner to fail to provide the dog with a strong and serviceable collar or harness to which a current identification tag described under this section is securely attached.
      (2)   The collar or harness, with the attached identification tag, must be worn at all times, except during the time the dog is performing at shows, obedience trials, tracking tests, field trials, schools or other events sanctioned and supervised by a recognized organization, or is engaged in hunting or some other activity in which a collar might endanger the dog’s safety.
