No person, firm or corporation shall operate a junkyard for the storage, dismantling or breaking up of machinery, motor vehicles, scrap metal, boilers or heavy pieces of metal or pipe; the storing of junk, rags, hair or paper; the burning of junk, rags, hair or paper in such a manner as to permit noxious smoke to escape within fifty feet of a public street, highway or residence dwelling or other business establishment not industrial in character; or which causes unusual noises; or in such a manner as to create a nuisance. The operation of a junkyard in such a manner as to permit rats or other rodents to gather; to permit stagnant water to stand; or noxious weeds to grow upon shall be deemed a nuisance and shall be abated immediately.
