525.16 FAILURE TO ANSWER SUMMONS.

(a) No person summoned to appear, shall fail to appear without just cause when personal service of the summons was made upon him. Upon failure to appear the court or magistrate may forthwith issue a warrant for his arrest.

(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
