305.09 VIOLATIONS.
   (a)    Anyone parking a vehicle in violation of Section 305.04(p) shall be fined three dollars ($3.00) for each offense. Failure to remove a vehicle within two hours after such vehicle has been ticketed shall constitute a separate offense. In the event that the failure to remove the vehicle is a result of mechanical failure or other emergency, the owner or custodian thereof shall forthwith advise the Police Department of the reasons for delay in moving the vehicle and such owner or custodian shall remove the vehicle within twenty-four hours of such notice to the Police Department.
   (b)    Any person may settle and compromise the claim against him or her by paying to the City the amount of such fine within twenty-four hours of the time the alleged violation was committed. Such payment may be made at the police station and a receipt shall be issued for all moneys so received, and such moneys shall be remitted to the Finance Director.

   (c)    Except as otherwise provided herein, any person violating the rules and regulations promulgated in connection with this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor which shall be classified as provided in Section 303.99.
