1127.01 GENERAL INTERPRETATION.
   (a)    In interpreting the text, the particular shall control the general. Words used in the present tense shall include the future. Words used in the singular number shall include the plural, and the plural the singular, unless the context clearly indicates the contrary.
   (b)    The word "shall" shall be considered as mandatory; the word "may" as permissive; and the word "should" as preferred or desirable.
   (c)    The phrase "used for" includes "arranged for", "designed for", "intended for", "maintained for", or "occupied for".
   (d)    The word "person" includes a firm, association, organization, partnership, trust, company or corporation as well as an individual.
