The city of Clyde shall utilize the monthly publication of the Engineering News Record of Twenty Cities Average Construction Costs Index (ENR.com) for establishing Water Tap Fees.
(a) Water tap up to and including three-fourths of an inch is $983.40. This fee is based upon the Engineering News Record of Twenty Cities Average Construction Costs Index of 8551.32 for December 2008 and shall be adjusted monthly. The tap fee charged shall be adjusted to such Engineer News Index as of the date, which is nearest the date of application for the water tap.
(b) Water tap larger than three-fourths of an inch shall be determined by using the calculation and cost in subsection (a) above, plus, seven hundred dollars ($700.00) per tap inch, thereafter.
(c) Water tap installed in approved subdivisions and in place shall be charged to the Zoning Permit applicant a fee of $247.99 for taps up to three fourths of an inch and adjusted monthly as outlined in subsection (a) hereof.
(d) A fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) shall be charged for a remote water meter for all new installations.
