§ 155.04 INITIAL DESIGNATION OF DISTRICT, LANDMARK, AND SITES.
   (A)   The following areas and sites are hereby declared to be historic preservation districts: the downtown business district which is all listed on the National Register of Historic Places and more specifically, the two block area from the Clover Creek Bridge to Poplar Street on both sides of West Main Street. Also included in the Historic Preservation Downtown District are those buildings immediately on the west side of North Poplar Street as per the map attached to Ordinance 97.12-1.
   (B)   The following is hereby designated as an historic preservation landmark or historic preservation building: a house (commonly referred to as the “steamboat house”) located on West Houston Street currently owned by the city and Richard F. Hembrey.
