(A) The Planning and Zoning Commission shall conduct a minimum of one public hearing on the proposed amendment after notice as required by KRS 100.211. The Commission shall make a recommendation to the City Council within 45 days from the date of the public hearing. It shall take a majority of the entire City Council to override the recommendation of the Commission.
(B) When a public hearing is scheduled for a proposal to amend the zoning map or this chapter, the legal notice for the hearing(s) shall comply with KRS Chapter 424.
